As 2012 winds up I’m looking through old files and I came across this awesome family session that Alex photographed at The Spit. I have loved this session since Alex arrived home from shooting it and showed me the images in the back of the camera. How gorgeous are these two young men?

When I was putting together the blog post for Sarah-Louise and Pete’s wedding I was looking through their images and thinking how moody and evocative they were and I thought to myself, “I reckon a blog post that is purely in black and white would really suit their wedding.”
The ceremony was held in the late afternoon at All Hallows Chapel where Sarah-Louise was once a student and night fell rather rapidly after the ceremony. Everything about the day was kept simple and this included the photos after the ceremony – we walked to the reception at Customs House and photographed the bridal party in a short session while on the way there.
Sarah-Louise and Pete’s day was all about the love and sharing it with their gorgeous children and their family. Everything was beautiful, everything was simple, everything was perfect.
Congratulations on your marriage Sarah-Louise and Pete.
