Lauren and Drumayne

Wedding season kicked off thick and fast for us here at Savvy Studios with Alex and I having seperate weddings on the first weekend back in August. I was lucky enough to have good friend Toni Snell accompany me to the wedding of Lauren and Drum and what a wedding to start the season with!

The boys and the girls were all full of life and laughs and it was just so lovely to spend time with them all. Lauren looked absolutely radiant and the smile couldn’t be wiped off her face the whole day; particularly not after the gorgeous sms was received from Drum.

Lauren and Drum were married on the Gold Coast with their wedding at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church which is just around the corner from Lauren’s family home. Then after the ceremony we hit Main Beach for a very quick location shoot so we could get the bridal party to Palazzo Versace to party the night away.

A special thanks has to go to Toni for her help and being able to split the work when time was slipping away – absolute legend.

Lauren and Drum, thank you so much for having us shoot your wedding. Everything was just perfect and I wish you well on your marriage. I look forward to seeing you again soon.

~ Alicia

Seriously, the photo of the guys in front of those white circle thingys in b/w…totally awesome! All the creatives on the beach are so pretty, the sky is perfect, the couple is perfect. Lovely. :)

I love the variety of scenery in all of the pictures. You never see them in one place long enough to get bored! That shot of the flower girl looking on as the bride gets dressed is amazing. LOVE.
