Nadine and Greg’s wedding was on the same day as Riverfire so we knew this had to be an omen for a fantastic wedding. The weather was perfect and the day just kept getting better and better.
Brisbane really turns it on at this time of year and there was definitely something in the air. There was a great buzz while we photographed Greg with his family and it was all stations, ‘go’, when we arrived at Nadine’s. A gorgeous bride, a gorgeous dress and a gorgeous dog. What more could we want?
The ceremony was simply beautiful and there was a tear in Greg’s eye as Nadine walked down the aisle on her father’s arm. After the service just Nadine and Greg headed off for some quick location photos before joining their guests at Eve’s on the River for the reception.
The night was great with lots of laughs, some very touching speeches and some rather enthusiastic dancing. We presented a slideshow of the day’s images that left everyone hugging each other and smiling – the perfect reward for us as photographers. It was all over way too soon with Nadine and Greg making their farewells and leaving together as husband and wife.
Thank you Nadine and Greg for having us as a part of your wedding day. We both had a great time and think you’re both fantastic together. Congratulations!
